I played rugby as extra training on Thursday, and happily avoided death or maiming.
As for food yesterday. I did have a large roast dinner, a number of cakes/biscuits/etc, a Malaysian dinner for my evening meal, cheese toastie and i think something else i am forgetting.
I have already had 4 bakewell tarts after this mornings outing (oh and some biscuits, plus i had breakfast beforehand naturally).
Log your training, amusing banter, eating achievements and the like here for all to gawp at, email chb32 for permission to post on the blog.

Pie eating is the key to success
Spent the day eating excessively in order to build up energy stocks for the potentially tortuous week ahead - roast dinner and 3 desserts set the scene followed by much cheese and in the region of 6 cream cakes for tea. Beat that Braithwaite! Training in between meals included a 'power building' nap mid afternoon.
The Sunday Ride
One horseman short of an apocalypse: Dave & Messrs Barber & Braithwaite. Lovely scenery out Toft way; but rather short excursion (1 hr, about 15MPH) due to Dave feeling like some inexplicable vom-action. Oh Dear... (And I haven't been drinking, especially not last night)

Body flogging this week
Only managed a rather paltry circuits and Rugby match in addition to the outings this week. this was due to my battered state after last weekends activities.
New Knees Please - 26.02.05 - Dave
Ever the best idea...
6840m, 1:58.0 at R22
Apparently sleep-talked a conversation with Mark last night where I was told the outing was off...
