Joe's Training

Relatively few sessions this week:

08/09; Haining weights session. The hardest and most painful workout I have ever known, couldn't sit down or walk properly till the end of last week, and I still have pains in my quads now.

"Summer" Training, Part VII

Hi all. Still not recovered really, every time I try to do something it puts me out of action again. I've felt better the last couple of days though. Only a few bits of work over the last couple of weeks. Will hopefully be able to up it this week coming.

03/09 OUTING 2- Paddle with George. Balance still quite good after a break.
04/09 ERG 10k@18 40 min (2 min splits), felt OK at the time.
11/09 RIDE 25k Chesterton-Girton-Madingley-Coton-Cambridge-Milton-Chesterton

My training

Sorry for not posting before.

I've been going to the gym for the whole summer. When I stayed in Cambridge, I went with Viquerat and Andrew Lynch whenever possible.

On average, it was 3-4 times per day in addition to lots of cycling to and from my work.

I am in Ukraine now and, unfortunately, I don't have much time to have outings as it take too long to get to and from the boathouse.

So, I do some training in the gym, which is 3-4 times per week on average.
