Captaincy fun, Richard?

I see the keenness to do some training over the summer is as high as usual... This week I kept my sister company as she was in Durham training for Nat Champs. I got access to an ergo whilst she was doing long outings, so with nothing better to do I did some long ergs:

8/7 - 3x6k @18 (2'r). 2:00.2, 2:01.4, 2:01.5.
10/7 - 3x6k @18 (2'r). 1:59.9, 1:59.9, 1:59.8.
13/7 (in Durham now) - 45' @18, 1:58.3.
14/7 - 20k @18. 2:02.5.
15/7 - 3x7k @18 (2'r). 1:59.9, 2:00.7, 2:00.7.
16/7 - 4x6k @18 (2'r). 2:02.3, 2:02.4, 2:02.3, 2:01.9.
17/7 - 4x7k @18 (2'r). 2:01.9, 2:01.9, 2:01.9, 2:01.7.

That last erg was really easy, which was a nice feeling. I then had three days in Nottingham with no access to ergs, so took the time off. This afternoon (back home), I did the 5k test, but rate capped it at 24 as it is pre-season.

21/7 - 5k test, @23. 18:17.4, 1:49.7. Fairly pleased with that, will start to increase the rate for the erg tests through the summer.
